2008 NYSSWA rankings (through Oct. 26)

No. 11 Cohoes and No. 15 Hudson Falls will meet in Saturday's Class B semifinal (at Cohoes, 1:30 p.m.) in an anticipated meeting of the area's top running back - Hudson Falls' Joe McMurry - and the area's best rushing defense from Cohoes.

No. 4 Burnt Hills hosts No. 20 Troy in a Class A semifinal on Friday at 7 p.m. in a game pitting the top two defenses in Section II. Burnt Hills has outscored opponents 402-33 while Troy has outscored theirs, 287-63.
